The 2009 Noah Road bike design was based on wind tunnel results which the company says increases its efficiency at big ring speeds which make up for its 1200 gm medium frame weight considering the carbon needed for the jet foils.
They say Noah is faster and perfect for crit, flatter to rolling rides. They also have the Heluim which is lighter at 800 gm but less aero for climbing or very hilly races. The Noah can also cut down switchback at speed and can still be predictable.
The builder use foam mold process where the bicycle frame is formed in a mold and wrapped in latex which are built around the base. The foam melts in the oven and the latex pulled out.
Stable and very comfortable bike with the integrated seatmast and stiff bottom bracket for power on sprints and climbs.
Noah designers create slotted airfoils in the fork and seatstay to deflect air friction where the wheels pass through the frame and fork. Aerodynamic R-Flow technology

“At its best, a road ride feels like flying — fast, effortless and fluid. In this regard, Javelin’s Cortina is more like a set of wings than a wheeled vehicle. We were impressed by the bike’s ability to nearly levitate over choppy pavement and provide instant, powerful drivetrain response. The Cortina, designed in the United States and hand made in Italy, handled intuitively, with almost no gap between the rider’s intent and the bike’s movement.”
